Our Instant Power Commercial Drain Cleaner is used for the treatment and maintenance of restaurant kitchens, restrooms, and grease traps. Beneficial bacteria digest fats, oils, and greases (FOG) along with other organic waste that accumulates in these drains and grease traps. Let me start by saying I worked for a week to clear the drain on my sink. I ran a 25 foot snake down the drain to try and clear and I rented a 50 foot snake. Both of these methods failed to clear the drain. I had just about given up and was in the hardware store to purchase new pipe to replace what was clearly clogged. After speaking with the sales associate a plumber who over heard my conversation with the sales associate turned me onto this product. The plumber told me to let the sink fill up with water and then add half of the bottle to the water. He said to leave it alone for 2 hours. I did this and after 2 hours returned and tried the sink. The sink was still clogged. The plumber said that if this occurred to use the other half the same way I did the first half but to use a sink plunger while the cleaner was still in the sink. I did this and holy cow it cleared the drain.

I spent countless hours working on this sink taking things apart and snake the drains and in 2 hours and 5 minutes this cleaner cleared the clog. I now have this stuff under my sink as part of my permanent arsenol to clear clogged drains. I use it in my showers and toilets and it works great. Thank you for making a product that actually works.

I never use liquid drain cleaners obnoxiously toxic to people, pipes, & water supply. But a relative handyman / janitor recommended this GUARANTEED-effective American quality name-brand (Scotch Corp.) citrust yellow as more ""green"" not irritating my MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) though since I'm sensitive I ventilate or run exhaust fan briefly after pouring into all drains regularly to keep running clear--preventatively weekly if desired though we don't need that often, so this concentrate lasts long with just a cup per drain.

Label instructions unclear when to run warm water afterward (if not diluted during per instructions when needed); so I run a little warm water immediately after to disperse it, and later I run hot water longer to sluice down the drain any remaining broken-up clog residual."

Tried this "guaranteed" junk in my sink for several hours following directions. It does not work! The drain was still clogged after 2 hours of trying it multiple times. Now let's see if these folks honor their guarantee "Guaranteed to work or it's FREE". Stay tuned.

    - Commercial Drain Cleaner is a biological product, not intended for clearing clogs. It is more of a maintainer. Our Chemical Drain Openers (Hair & Grease) are a better solution for clogged drains. Please send us your contact info for the refund and we will process. We appreciate your business.
